Possibly one of the most moving things I've read this fall:
"The key terms - sola scriptura, sola fide, sola gratia - can open no door other than that of sola ecclesia, which remains the one and only church in its various traditions."
(from Groupe des Dombes, For the Conversion of the Churches, World Council of Churches, 1993, p. 82-85.)

This was said by a theological discussion group of Catholic and protestants in 1937 Switzerland & France. Beautiful, no matter which tradition you make your home in!

That has certainly been my experience... that involvement with a Christian community is the natural consequence of faith, grace and scripture.

Um, I see a pattern developing here... be thoughtful about this, Rachel. There are serious differences between denominations and it's important to be aware of them.
